TWO WAYS TO WEAR IT
At the neck — folded into a triangle and knotted at the front, or wrapped twice for something closer. At 75 × 75 cm there's enough cloth to sit properly on the shoulders instead of riding up.
On the head — tied at the nape, bandana-style, with the fringed point falling at the back.
This is the size that does both well. Smaller and it only works at the neck; larger and it starts behaving like a shawl.

THE FABRIC
100% linen, woven in Flanders — on the same ground since 1858.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, class II — tested for harmful substances, safe against skin.
Belgian Linen™ — woven in Belgium, min. 85% EU-origin flax, traceable by certificate number.
Masters of Linen® — made entirely in Europe: field, fibre, yarn, cloth.
Purveyor to the Belgian Royal Court, appointed 2006.
CO2-neutral company, certified since 2014.
Zero-waste production.
And when it finally does end: linen is fully biodegradable. An independent study measured complete degradation in 6.5 months.
"Belgian flax" and "European flax" describe where the plant grew — not where the cloth was woven. Belgian Linen™ guarantees both. That's the difference you're paying for.

HOW IT FEELS
125 g/m² — light. Softened by air, not stone.
The fabric is Sanfor pre-shrunk and Airo-finished: compressed to stabilise it before it ever reaches me, then softened mechanically with jets of air. No stones, no chemicals, no enzymes. The fibre is left intact — which is why the colour stays even and the cloth wears slowly.
What that means for you: it won't shrink after the first wash, and it arrives already soft rather than needing to be broken in.
Light enough for August evenings, warm enough for October mornings. It creases, and it's meant to. Linen doesn't wear out — it softens further. In two years this will be the one you reach for without thinking.

CARE
A care label is sewn in — please follow it.
The fabric is pre-shrunk, so it holds its size. It only gets softer.
